What is a Wardrobe Edit?

What is a Wardrobe Edit?

The process of evaluating, organizing, and refreshing your clothing collection to ensure it aligns with your personal style, lifestyle, and needs. The goal is to create a capsule wardrobe filled with items you love, that fit well, and work together harmoniously.

A wardrobe edit helps you save time and feel more confident in your daily style choices. It’s also a sustainable practice, encouraging mindful consumption and making better use of what you already own.

Go through all your clothes, shoes, and accessories.

Remove items that no longer fit, are outdated, damaged, or haven't been worn in over a year.

Decide what to keep, donate, sell, or recycle. Identify gaps in your wardrobe (e.g., missing basics or seasonal pieces). Look at your lifestyle (work, casual, formal, etc.) and how your wardrobe serves those areas.

Align your clothing with your personal style and colour palette.

Arrange your wardrobe so it is easy to see by style and colour.

Replace essential items that are worn out.
